Welcome to the Youth Ministry Institute!
A unique training program designed to equip youth workers for real youth ministry by integrating spiritual formation, experience in the field, and relevant studies.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Youth Ministry Institute offers a two-year (64 credit) Associate of Arts degree in Youth Ministry designed to train effective youth leaders. The comprehensive curriculum, experienced faculty, and intense hands-on internship component makes YMI your best choice in becoming a youth leader for today and tomorrow. Classes will require significant amounts of personal discipline (both in and out of class), discussion, reading (articles, books, etc.), and writing (book reviews, research papers, etc.). To add experience to knowledge, every full-time YMI student is also required to serve 10 hours per week in a supervised youth ministry setting. The YMI program can be integrated with the four-year (128 credit) B.A. in Pastoral Leadership program with a major in Youth Ministry.
